International relations is a science combining knowledge, experience and achievements of many disciplines. It draws from political science, economics and law, as well as from sociology, geography and history.

Studies in the area of international relations at Vistula University in Warsaw will help you understand the current and most pressing problems of the modern world. You will gain broad knowledge regarding global problems and mechanisms of international cooperation and competition on the political, economic and military levels. You will learn about the role of cultural, religious and regional factors and gain an insight into the world of negotiations and diplomacy. You can choose one of our three specialties within the Bachelor’s degree study program in International Relations. The program allows you to continue education at the Master’s level not only in the field of international relations, but also in economics and other social and human sciences, such as sociology, political science and history. All specialties broaden our students’ horizons thus giving them a better understanding of the world and strengthening their position on the labour market.

Specialities in the field of International Relations

This speciality has been developed in response to the evolution of the international order and the growing rivalry among global superpowers. It focuses on the changes among key international players and the rise of non-state leaders.

This is an offer for those who want to develop their professional career in the media engaged in international cooperation as well as with international corporations. The study program has an interdisciplinary character, it combines international relations, political science and journalism. The emphasis is placed on the issues of public image and the role of the media in contemporary international relations.

The study program focuses on the problems of state security in the internal and external perspective. You will get to know collective security systems, strategies for protection against threats and methods of forecasting threats. It is a great choice for those who want to develop their professional career working as international analysts or deal with the assessment of business risk factors in corporations.

Yes, you may come to the Bursar’s office, and pay there: by cash or by card.

Please, write to: refund@vistula.edu.pl. Also, please read the contract,  §4, abstract 8-16.

Where can I find the timetable?

The timetable is available in the USOSweb (University Study-Oriented System). The link to the USOSweb is available on the University’s website, in the Intranet tab. Students can see their individual timetable after logging the USOS system.

Where can I find information about the exam session?

Exam session dates are given in the organisation of the academic year. Each lecturer is obliged to inform students about the date of the exam / final test.

How can I collect my student ID card?

Student ID cards for students of the 1st semester can be collected at the reception of the University, the remaining cards should be collected at the Dean’s Office.
