In the years 2004-2010, he held the position of Polish ambassador to the UN Office in Geneva, the Disarmament Conference and other organizations. Between 2008 and 2009, chairman of the Administrative Council of the International Labour Organization and the Committee of the Whole negotiating a resolution on the global financial and economic crisis. In 2006, chairman of the Disarmament Conference. In the years 1996-2004 and 2010-2012 – adviser to the President of the Republic of Poland; 1994-1995 President of the Polcard Company (dealing with credit cards). Earlier, Director of the Cabinet of three successive foreign ministers, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the International Tourism Organization in Madrid, Secretary of the Embassy in Tokyo, FIFA liaison officer at the World Cup in Mexico. Co-author of the book Gospodarka światowa (World economy), author of articles on credit cards, globalization, financial and economic crisis, disarmament, diplomacy and socio-economic transformation in Central and Eastern Europe. Awarded with, among others, the Great Crosses of Merit of Chile and Peru, the Commander’s Cross of the French Legion of Honour, the Commander’s Crosses of Merit of Belgium, Japan, Lithuania and Hungary.

  • international finance;
  • evolution of the world economy in the age of globalization;
  • international organizations;
  • international negotiations;
  • cybersecurity and environmental protection in the face of chemical threats.
