I. In the 2024/25 academic year, physical education classes are mandatory for students of the second year of full-time Bachelor’s studies at Vistula University and for students of the first year of full-time Bachelor’s studies at the Vistula School of Hospitality – two semesters of classes. Classes can also be attended by those students of the Vistula Group of Universities who have failed to complete them on time and who have received the Dean’s consent for their conditional retake.

II. Completion options

1. Physical education classes at the University campus

• Classes are held once a week in the sports hall and gym of the Vistula Group of Universities, at Stokłosy 3
• Students of the second year of Vistula University should register online. Registration will take place on the following dates: 14/10/2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 19/10/2024, until 11:00 p.m.;
• Students of the first year of the Vistula School of Hospitality and students with conditional credits should report directly to the instructors (in sports hall or gym) in the first week of classes;
• Classes in the winter semester 2024/25 start on October 21, 2024.

Detailed information about classes will be provided by the instructors during the first class. In the summer semester, it will be possible to change the type and date of classes.

2. Trainings of sports sections of the AZS Vistula University Club

• This option is available for students who present an appropriate level in a selected sports discipline;
• Students should report directly to section coaches.

3. Completing PE outside the University

• online registration will take place on the following dates: 14/10/2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 19/10/2024, until 11:00 p.m.;
• after registration, students will receive a university certificate form by email;
• certified documents (with stamp and signature of the organizer) should be submitted to the Physical Education and Sports Department in person (only) on the indicated dates;
• certificates submitted in other ways will not be accepted.

4. The Director of the PE and Sports Department may exempt from physical education classes students who demonstrate a high sports level – the level is confirmed by 04/11/2024 r., on Mondays at12.45 p.m. – 1.45 p.m., room 64, next to the sports hall.

Note!

Due to the limited number of places in each group, the order of applications is decisive.

III. Long-term medical certificate (semester or yearly)

• Students holding a long-term medical certificate are obliged to complete physical education classes by attending classes conducted in a different form.
• Medical certificates must be delivered to the instructor during the first class.
• Classes are held on Fridays, 10:50 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., room 65 next to the sports hall.
• The first classes will take place on 08/11/2024 r.
