Piotr F. Borowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology and holds a PhD from the Warsaw School of Economics. Currently, he is a professor at Vistula University. Previously, he worked at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He is the author of over 150 articles in national and foreign journals and scientific monographs, including 28 articles on IF indexed on the Web of Science and Scopus databases. He conducts scientific research both at home and abroad in the field of enterprise management in the energy sector, taking into account the requirements of a zero-emission economy, the reduction of CO2 emissions and innovative solutions contained in green innovation.
He completed scientific and research internships at the University of St. John’s in New York and St. Thomas in Addis Ababa. He is also the author of a short communication published in New York on the management of the La Guardia airport and the corruption of the chairman of the New York State Assembly. Repeatedly awarded with individual awards of the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences for scientific achievements. He is an active participant in international scientific conferences (Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Jordan, United Arab Emirates), during which he conducts plenary sessions, thematic sections, and presents the results of his research. He lectures under the Erasmus program in France, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, and Turkey. During his private holidays, he repeatedly conducted his own research in Guinea, Ethiopia, and Egypt, the results of which he published in foreign and national scientific journals. He is a reviewer for many foreign scientific journals and has been three times awarded prizes for outstanding reviewers. Decorated by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Bronze Cross of Merit and the Bronze Medal for Long Service.
