Doctor of Economic Sciences. Graduate of the Warsaw School of Insurance and Banking in the field of finance and banking in actuarial science. Since 2005, he has been professionally involved with the Vistula University of Finance and Business in Warsaw. In 2013, for the work he did during his classes, he was ranked by the students as one of the best didacticians at the Vistula University of Finance and Business, taking first place in the category of large teaching units.

A banking practitioner with over 25 years of professional experience, he has held numerous managerial positions in the Polish banking sector since 2001. In 2019 awarded with the badge of honour

“For merits for banking of the Republic of Poland”. – Polish departmental civilian decoration awarded by the President of the National Bank of Poland.

In his scientific activity, he is engaged in research on the functioning of the Polish banking system and its changes (organisational, legal, systemic, product) with particular emphasis on its income side (income, costs, broadly understood risk) and systemic adjustments to customer expectations. Use of quantitative methods in practical management to forecast economic phenomena. Provides numerous TV, press and Internet commentaries in such publications as TVP, POLSAT, Forbes, Rzeczpospolita, Infor, Gazeta Prawna, Miesięcznik Bank, Business Insider and money.pl.

Areas of didactic/scientific interests:

  • Retail and corporate banking;
  • E-banking and mobile banking;
  • Economic and financial risk management, in particular banking risks;
  • Analysis and forecasting of economic variables for Poland and the world;
  • Evaluation of investment projects and, in particular, assessment of the financial standing of a company and banking verification of business plans.
