Young people sensitive to the environment
We are very pleased that Vistula University students are young people who are sensitive to the environment. The action of cleaning the parks and green areas in the Ursynów District, which took place on May the 13th, was a success. The event was organized by the Club Center and our fantastic students took part in it.
It was a great adventure, which was also favored by good weather.
Participants of the action cleaned the campus area, the road from the University to the John Paul the II park and the park itself. Our students met with a very warm response from the local residents, who thanked them for their commitment. Some even wanted to join in the cleaning of the green areas.
The necessary equipment, such as garbage grabbers and vests, had been ordered for the purpose of the action. We will be able to use it in the future during other events of that type.
Cleaning parks and green areas is an extremely useful activity benefiting the entire Ursynów district community and the natural environment in accordance with the principle “act locally, think globally”. Sensitivity to the environment, to the nature that surrounds us says a lot about us. It depends on us what kind of world we live in.
