We are returning to the University campus from the new academic year – Vistula School of Hospitality
Dear Colleagues, Dear Students,
We are currently at the close of the third semester when we have been forced to limit our mutual contacts due to the announcement of the pandemic. During that time we have acquired a lot of new experiences, but most importantly, we managed to meet the challenges of distance learning. The best available information technology combined with your firm commitment, allowed us to maintain the appropriate quality and continuity of education in this difficult time.
We carefully observe and analyze the latest reports related to the current epidemic situation in Poland and in the world. The improving statistics related to COVID-19 incidence rates and increased vaccination efforts give hope for a return to normal life. It is based on those data and our mutually shared desire to return to the face to face contact, that the University Authorities decided to resume study and work at the premises of our University from the beginning of the academic year 2021/2022.
I would like to assure you that we are constantly striving to provide safe conditions at the University. The operating procedures related to preventing, counteracting and combating COVID-19 implemented at the University are updated in line with the new Government guidelines. I am aware that you are highly concerned about your health and, for my part, I will make every effort to make our return to the University safe for our employees and students. It is important that we all follow safety rules in this difficult time, behaving responsibly, empathetically, with sensitivity and understanding towards others.
On behalf of the Senate of the Vistula School of Hospitality, we wish the entire academic community health and we look forward to seeing you within the walls of our University.
Yours faithfully,
Prof. Aleksander Ronikier
Rector of the Vistula School of Hospitality
