Vistula volleyball players in the AMP finals!

The AZS Vistula volleyball team scored third place in the semi-final tournament of the Polish Academic Championships and reached the Rzeszów finals!

The semi-final tournament took place at SGGW campus. In the group phase, the team of coach Jolanta Studzienna beat UKSW Warsaw (2:0), Bialystok University of Technology (2:0) and Medical University of Lodz (2:0). In the quarterfinals, they won without much difficulty with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (2:0).

In the semi-final match “Vistulanki” team was a step away from defeating the strong team of UPH Siedlce, but they did not manage to make a surprise and lost in the ending 1:2. Defeating Lodz Polytechnic 2:0 they confirmed a good disposition.

Another good tournament is behind us – said coach Jolanta Studzienna – I am glad that we won the promotion to the finals, where we are going to fight for the best result
