Vistula Philology program passed the assessment of the Polish Accreditation Committee
On September 3 the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee adopted a resolution on positive program evaluation in the field of Philology at the Vistula University at the level of Bachelor’ Degree and Master’ Degree studies with a practical profile.
As has been said, all the requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of September 12, 2018, on program evaluation, have been met.
The level of didactic classes and the involvement of lecturers in the teaching process were appreciated. The faculty staff was praised for their managerial and popularizing activities in the field of culture (literature, film, theatre) and for their experience in preparing and conducting certified exams in foreign languages (TOEFL, TOEIC, and others).
The commission that visited the Vistula University concluded that our institution is an international university in the full sense of the word. The mechanism of systematic and comprehensive student support was appreciated, in particular providing students with the possibility of using free medical assistance and consultation.
The Polish Accreditation Committee is a state institution, that works to maintain the quality of education within the higher education system. It checks whether universities meet the conditions for offering studies, verifies curricula, the condition of academic staff, infrastructure, and the system of supporting students in the process of learning, doing research, and entering the labour market.
