Seminar about insurances in tourism

Right now, most Poles are planning a summer vacation. This season they will be safe as never before. On July 1st a new act on tourist events and related services comes into force. This is the third stage introduced in recent years, securing tourists.

We invite you to the scientific seminar and presentation of the monograph “Rynek zabezpieczeń finansowych i produktów ubezpieczeniowych w kontekście działalności biur podróży” on February 28th at 11:00 in the senate hall. The authors of the publication are insurance and tourism experts: Dr. Małgorzata Maliszewska from the Vistula University, Dr. Piotr Kociszewski and Dr. Krzysztof Łopaciński from the Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

During the seminar, the scientists will present the changes introduced by the new tourism law this year. They will also summarize the regulations from recent years, which are responsible for a number of new travelers’ security: min. raising the guarantee of travel agencies, establishing the Tourist Guarantee Fund and imposing on the organizers of tourism many new duties.
