Public Ph.D. thesis defence of M.Sc. Wioletta Wieszczycka
The Dean and the Council of the Faculty of Business and International Relations at Vistula University, invite you to attend the public Ph.D. thesis defence of M.Sc. Wioletta Wieszczycka, on: ’The importance of technology and intellectual property protection in the economic development of the Republic of Korea’.
The dissertation of Ms. Wieszczycka, contains an analysis of the transforming process of the delayed raw-agricultural economy of South Korea, into an innovative, knowledge-based economy. The author has documented the fundamental impact on these changes of significant investments in human capital, development of her own R & D facilities, and an openness to external knowledge transfer.
The Ph.D. thesis supervisor is Ph.D. Prof. Ryszard Michalski, and the reviews were taken by: Ph.D. Prof. Joanna Kotowicz-Jawor from the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Ph.D. Prof. Lech Kurowski from the Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa im. Angelusa Silesius in Wałbrzych.
The defence will take place on March the 25th, 2019, at 2:00 pm, at Vistula University, ul. Stokłosy 3, in aula 7.
