Orientation Day 2018
Vistula supports new students from both Poland and abroad. We do everything to protect them in the new environment.
Every country, organization or community has its short cuts that become the usual way of getting things done. Orientation Day can begin to make students familiar with those cow paths as well as the official routes.
The program includes visiting the university and the city. New students learn about places, people and customs. They will receive a complete set of information on the functioning of the academic environment and the specifics of social life. Thanks to this they will have a sense of belonging and it will be easier for them to make friends.
The Orientation Day helps to learn the culture of the faculty and the entire university and establish relationships with employees. New students will learn what are the expectations and requirements of the academic staff, what are the rules for presenting the results of work and the form of their delivery. They will also learn about the possibilities of getting help – when and to whom they can turn to.
Well-prepared and oriented students will get used to academic and student life faster.
