Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, was re-elected Chairman of the EMEA region at the MPI Foundation
From January, 2021, Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, lecturer and representative of the Rector of the Vistula School of Hospitality, will take over, for the second time, the chairman’s functions of the EMEA region (Europe, MiddleEast, Africa), as part of the largest foundation related to the awarding of funds and grants for the activities of the meetings industry in the world the MPI Foundation. Using his experience and knowledge, he will lead three key regions for the global development of the organisation over the next three years.
The MPI Foundation is a body that supports business goals and the industry’s community by financing individual, educational scholarships, research, and development grants. Since 2009, through individual donations, special strategic events, educational projects and donations from associations and corporations, the MPI Foundation has collected and donated almost PLN 20 million, which makes it one of the largest initiatives in the meetings industry, having a real impact on the development of the industry around the world. Krzysztof Celuch has been associated with MPI from the beginning of his professional career. He is, among others, the founder of the MPI Poland Club (now MPI Poland Chapter), a former member of the MPI main board, a European adviser and the winner of the MPI RISE Award. “The joy of helping is one of the most important activities that drives me to the next professional steps” – he recently commented. – He further added that: “the MPI Foundation, despite the very difficult year of 2020, has helped and continues to help entrepreneurs, so I am very happy that in the next 12 months, I will be able to continue supporting the members of this organisation”.
Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, is an outstanding practitioner, trainer, business adviser and entrepreneur. He specialises in the meetings industry, event marketing, and event management. He is one of the most recognisable people in the MICE industry. He takes part in many events around the world, where he promotes Poland as an attractive place for business tourism. This year, he was on the prestigious list of the 100 most influential people in the events industry – “All-Stars: The Most Influential People in The Event Industry” – prepared by the organisers of the Eventex Awards competition.
