Ethics and academic integrity: tips and clues for freshmen
Our university is a community, in which education and human development are the most important factors. At Vistula, we want to educate people with broad horizons, innovative and creative, but also ethically sensitive, honest, and reliable.
The Student Help Point invites all freshmen to a seminar, ’Ethics and academic integrity: tips and warnings for new students of Vistula University’. The meeting will take place on December the 2nd, 2019, at 2:30 pm, in room 113. Professor Mitchell Welle will lead it in English.
The idea of the seminar is to provide Vistula freshmen with basic knowledge regarding academic ethics and integrity. It is the foundation on which we build relationships at Vistula Universities, a strong belief in a set of values that promote honesty and good practices in teaching, learning, and assessment, whilst encouraging respect for the dignity of others, freedom of speech, and the right to substantive discussion. You should know these principles and put them into practice.
We cordially invite you
