EQUATION Project Gains Momentum at Second Meeting in Warsaw, Poland

The city of Warsaw played host to the second meeting of the EQUATION project. It is a significant stride in collaborative efforts for equality advancement.

The EQUATION project is coordinated by CEEMAN and financed by the Erasmus+ program. In addition to Vistula University, the following entities take part in the program: Bled School of Management, WSB and Riga Technical University. The aim of the EQUATION project is to equalize opportunities for women and men in higher education – especially in management and business schools. The program develops tools and training for universities, accrediting institutions and their employees to be better prepared to reduce gender gaps, which will lead to lasting cultural and institutional changes.

On November 9, participants convened at the prestigious Vistula University, where they were warmly welcomed by the esteemed Rector, Prof. Wawrzyniec Konarski, PhD, and Vice-Rector Grzegorz Mathea, PhD. This unique setting provided an immersive experience, allowing participants to delve into the rich cultural tapestry in diversity management of Vistula University.

The meeting delved into in-depth discussions centered around the materials presented at the Discussion for the 36th Businet Annual Conference – LTT on November 10, 2023. The intellectual exchange fostered a dynamic environment for participants to engage with cutting-edge ideas and trends in the field of diversity.

In addition to reflecting on the current project milestones, participants actively formulated a strategic schedule for forthcoming collaborations. This forward-looking approach sets the stage for continued synergies and impactful initiatives.

The culmination of this collaborative effort is the impending release of the final project report. This comprehensive document, meticulously crafted by dedicated participants, embodies the essence of their collective work. The dissemination of this report promises to be a catalyst for broader academic discourse, sharing insights and innovations with a global audience.

The EQUATION project exemplifies the transformative power of international collaboration. By disseminating the findings and outcomes, participants aim to unlock the potential for positive change and advancement within their academic spheres. The forthcoming report represents not only the culmination of diligent effort but also a beacon illuminating the path towards a more interconnected and knowledge-rich future.

As the EQUATION project gains momentum, its impact extends far beyond the meeting rooms of Universities and Conferences, echoing the importance of dissemination in shaping the future landscape of academia. Stay tuned for the unveiling of the final report soon, a testament to the collective dedication and intellectual prowess of EQUATION’s participants.
