They are young, talented, creative, hard-working, and committed. Vistula School of Hospitality graduates – Adrianna Roguska, Dmytro Moiseienko and Katarzyna Kalinowska have just been nominated for the prestigious ‘Discovery of the Year’ award, MPI Poland, 2018. The winner will be announced on March the 22nd, during the MP Power Awards!

The Discovery of the Year, MPI Poland, competition has been organised for the eighth time, in co-operation with MeetingPlanner.pl. Its aim is to honour people who have entered the Polish Meetings’ industry during the last 12 months, and have stood out.

Adriana Roguska began her adventure in the meetings industry, during her Master’s studies. She then received a chance to develop as a Junior Project Manager at a travel agency. Currently, she works at the Ministry of Creativity event agency as the ViceMinister of Creativity, realising events for the most demanding clients.

For a year, Adriana was the head of the “2B” Business Tourism Students’ Scientific Club. She is still actively supporting student initiatives, such as the IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum, Warsaw.

Dmytro Moiseienko was employed in the Mazurkas Travel company, and is already in his second year of studies. He presently holds the position of Technical Co-ordinator. During his studies at the Vistula School of Hospitality, he was a member of the “2B” Business Tourism Students’ Scientific Club. He has taken part in event industry competitions, with his activities being quickly noticed.

Katarzyna Kalinowska also started looking for her place in the events’ industry during her studies. She tried her strength at the Polish Chamber of Tourism, at the same time, carrying out large projects in the “2B” Business Tourism Scientific Club, and combining this, with work as a Rector’s Assistant at the Vistula School of Hospitality. Then, she went to the event agency, El Padre – first as an intern, then as a Junior Manager. After a year, she was upgraded to the Events Manager position.

Appreciation of our graduates’ skills by MPI Poland, brings us much joy and satisfaction.

MPI is a strong and diverse community of professional meeting organisers, , and the rapid development of the industry, has helped make it a leading association within the meetings industry, which provides its members with knowledge and business contacts, whilst opening up professional opportunities.
