“Contemporary faces of xenophobia. On the examples of media coverage in Central and Eastern Europe. ” Dr. Stana Buchowska

Migration, refugees, human trafficking and the xenophobia as a result of it. We invite you to the lecture „Współczesne oblicza ksenofobii. Na przykładzie doniesień medialnych w Europie Środkowej i Wschodniej” (Contemporary faces of xenophobia. On the examples of media reports in Central and Eastern Europe) by Dr. Stana Buchowska.

The author is a leader of the La Strada Foundation and Migration Advisor for Central and Eastern Europe at OXFAM International.
On the basis of her many years of experience, she has in-depth and verified knowledge of migration, refugee and human trafficking, as well as the resulting cultural and socio-political consequences. The lecture will focus on xenophobia in Central and Eastern Europe as one of these consequences.

23.11.2017 at 10:00 am, in aula 3. Entrance free. The lecture will be in Polish.
