Field of study: English Philology

Graduate of the English Philology Department of Warsaw University, long-term teacher of English for Special Purposes, including Medical University of Warsaw, Vistula University and economic/foreign trade organizations. She specializes in teaching English used in medicine, economics, foreign trade, finance and other related areas. She has authored numerous textbooks for teaching/learning English for Special Purposes. The last of them – Success in Business – Success in Life was published in 2018. She is a translator with long experience and also a sworn translator.

Recently, she has been interested mainly in communication-related issues, in particular, in the application of rhetoric for effective and efficient communication in various domains, including business, public speaking and the media. In addition, given the new trends becoming ever more pronounced in education, she has been giving increased attention to e-learning as well as new tendencies in teaching and student performance appraisal.  Over the past two years, she developed a concept and prepared extensive e-learning materials in general English for A1 and A2 level as well as in ESP (different specialties) for B2 and C1 level. She is also interested in the role of contemporary literature in shaping social awareness and trends in modern literature.

Areas of didactic/scientific interests:

  • teaching specialist English;
  • preparing materials for teaching/learning ESP;
  • e-learning and e-learning materials.
