PhD in economic sciences (Warsaw School of Economics). Since 1993, connected with the financial market. In the years 1993-2007, employed in Polish Radio First Channel as a journalist, economic commentator. Long-time publisher and anchor of the most popular economic programme in Poland – Radio Biznes – he prepared and conducted economic programmes for ‘Sygnały Dnia’ broadcasts. In the years 2006-2007, TV Business columnist, creator, author and anchor of the ‘Personal Finance’ programme. Laureate of numerous journalist competitions. In  2003, he received from Professor Leszek Balcerowicz – President of the National Bank of Poland, the main Władysław Grabski award in the category of radio journalism for the best broadcasts on economics in 2002, in the first edition of the competition organized by the National Bank of Poland and Reuters Agency Poland. In 2006, DWS Poland Society of Investment Funds gave him a special award for the professional and constructive analysis as well as popularization of subjects related to the capital market.

Teaching/research interests:

  • finance – market system and public system;
  • economics – mainly macroeconomics;
  • marketing;
  • communication.
