Historian of art and architecture, assistant professor at Technical University in Białystok, graduate of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) – 1981, completed studies in history of art with the title of master of art at ATK (UKSW) in Warsaw (master degree thesis entitled: „Nauczanie Maryi przez św. Annę” w malarstwie XVII i XVIII wieku w Polsce. Studium ikonograficzne (The teaching of Maria by St Anne’ in 17th and 18th century painting in Poland. Iconographic study), 1981, scientific supervisor – Professor priest Janusz St. Pasierb PhD). 1993 – PhD in humanities at ATK (UKSW) in Warsaw (subject of the PhD thesis: Ikonografia Męki Chrystusa w nowożytnej sztuce kościelnej w Polsce (Iconography of Christ martyrdom in modern church art in Poland), 29/11/1993; scientific supervisor – Professor priest Janusz St. Pasierb PhD.
