Marek Kulczycki, PhD

Management Board Member, acting in the capacity of President of the Management Board of FM PBP SA, Doctor of Economics (1976), a graduate of the Faculty of International Trade of the Warsaw School of Economics. From 1971 to 1980, he was a teaching and research fellow at the Warsaw School of Economics. Marek has authored dozens of research papers, text books, and books on economics and finance. He was employed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in Vienna (1980–1986).

He was also Department Head in the Ministry of Foreign Trade (1987–1991), being responsible for Poland’s collaboration with OECD countries. In 1991, he was Under-Secretary of State in the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In May 1992, he was employed by the Polish-American Enterprise Fund, where he led a loan programme for small and medium enterprises. Since April the 1st, 1995, he has been President of the Management Board of The First Polish-American Bank and Fortis Bank Polska S.A. From 2002 to 2009, he was President of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank PBC S.A. From 2010 to 2014, he was a member of the supervisory board of the bank.

Since 2011, he has been a lecturer at Vistula University. He is Head of the Institute of Finances and Accounting, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Vice-Rector for the Collaboration with Business and International Relations. From 2015 to 2016, he was the Rector of Vistula University. Currently, he is a Board Member, acting in the capacity of President of the Management Board of FM Bank PBP SA.
