PhD in economic science from Warsaw School of Economics Economic-Social College. Holder of the Thames Valley University MBA diploma. She completed the School of Trainers of the Jagiellonian University Wszechnica. She was a member of PKA (Team for Economic Fields) as well as the Rector’s College and the Didactic-Research Board of Polish Open University. She received Rector’s awards [POU] – Didactic Worker of 2006 as well as achievements in 2011. She was in charge of trainings and consulting projects, among others for firms such as Lexmark, Galeco, Biprocemwap, Capgemini. She cooperated with advisory-consulting firms, among others, Otawa Group, Combidata Poland and PwC. Acting as a trainer and consultant, she took part in numerous EU projects for human resources management and modern firm management. She gave lectures and presentation, among others, at the Polish National Congress ‘Personnel and Management’, Polish National Congress ‘The First Human Resources of the Republic of Poland’ and HR Forum. She was co-organizer and President of the Jury of three editions of the Little Poland Entrepreneurship Tournament. In the years 2007-2015, Dean of Little Poland School of Management/Open University. From February 2015 to January 2017 – Dean of the Branch Faculty in Cracow, Academy of Finance and Business Vistula in Warsaw. Lecturer at foreign universities (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Lithuania). Years of teaching Executive MBA and MSc students. Numerous publications in the field of human resources management in Poland and abroad.
Teaching/research interests:
- strategic human resources management (motivation psychology and development of staff involvement, staff appraisal systems, competence and talent management, organizational culture and employer’s image);
- international human resources management [questions of multiculturalism, management of multicultural teams, role and tasks of managers in multicultural management];
- leadership in contemporary management;
- management of change and management of people in the process of changes;
- theoretical and practical training, business counselling [entrepreneurial attitudes, psychosocial competences].
