It is estimated that approximately one million young people each year take part in various types of conferences organized according to the UN model. Those include small debates as well as big international conferences gathering several thousand people.
Participation in such a conference provides students with the opportunity to practice their negotiation skills, learn how to seek common ground and deepen their knowledge of the United Nations. Practicing public speaking skills and seeking solutions to international problems in a public debate will play an important role in building students’ leadership skills.
All interested are kindly welcome to participate in the event. Students from other groups or fields of studies may take part in the conference as observers.
The event can also be attended online via the Teams platform.
