Study with global opportunities – 1st place in the Perspektywy ranking

Students from 80 countries, all courses taught in two languages and international staff – Vistula University on the 1st place of internationalization in the Perspektywy Magazine ranking of 2017. It beat all private and public universities in Poland.

Global opportunities are the motto of Vistula University. In this academic year those opportunities were given to 4,228 students from 80 countries – including Poland (1947), Ukraine (1283), Belarus (159) and among others from China, Laos, Vietnam or Zambia. There are also lecturers from 19 countries. Among them are former and present diplomats, prof. Andrzej Olechowski, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, prof. Jerzy M. Nowak, longtime ambassador to NATO or Chancellor of the Vistula University Dr. Zdzisław Rapacki, former Ambassador in the office of the United Nations.

– We are convinced that only the staff of both – academic authorities and eminent practitioners – give students full knowledge of the world. At the Vistula University we focus on the practical dimension of education. Thanks to that, our graduates have not only great knowledge but also are prepared to work in global business, diplomacy and are able to set up their own companies with international perspectives, says prof. Witold Orłowski, rector of Vistula University.

All courses at Vistula University are conducted in Polish and English. Within Erasmus, the University offers the opportunity to study in 40 countries. 70% of our students get a job on 3rd year of studies. Thanks to cooperation agreements with 131 companies in the world, our students have a chance to get an interns and find a job abroad. They also organize national and international events such as CETA Forum, EXPO, EASM or Meetings Week Poland.

The University is also a center for exchanging views on the direction of global change. Cyclically organizes seminars and meetings with international authorities, European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström or Lieutenant of the Ukrainian Air Force Nadia Sawchenko and MEPs. AFiB Vistula operates the Ambassador Club, a group of former Polish diplomats.

The university belongs of the group of the most important international associations for the development of CEEMAN and EFMD and is in the process of gaining IQA and EQUIS accreditation.
