Meetings Week Poland 2017 behind us

5 days of workshops, lectures and informal meetings – the biggest event of the meeting industry in Poland is behind us. Among the hundreds of guests – businessmen, politics, journalists and students – were Deputy Minister of Sport Dawid Lasek, President of the Polish Tourist Organization Marek Olszewski and Olympic Champion Tomasz Majewski. The Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management from Vistula Group of Universities was the host and co-organizer of this event.

Part of the Meetings Week Poland 2017 was the 12 IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum. The goal of this event was to encourage the best and brightest students to develop their careers in the meeting industry. FLF organizes an IMEX Univeristy Challenge competition which is sponsored by Marriott Hotels. This competition gives students possibility to demonstrate their creativity in planning events. The semi-final winner was a student of SGTiR Katarzyna Kalinowska, who is already preparing for the final of the University Challange in Frankfurt.
