Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, has become an adviser to the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology
Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, a respected lecturer at the Vistula School of Hospitality, the Rector’s Proxy for Co-operation with the Socio-Economic Environment, has joined the Council of Experts for Tourism, established by the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology.
The Council of Tourism Experts is an auxiliary body of the Minister in charge of tourism. Its tasks are: issuing opinions and formulating positions regarding proposals for systemic solutions in tourism, issuing opinions and presenting proposals for legislative initiatives in the field of tourism, as well as initiating activities for the sustainable development of tourism, competitiveness of the Polish tourism offer on the international market, creation of innovative tourism products, in particular, by enhancing social activity and entrepreneurship in the tourism sector. The Council consists of twenty-five scientists, local government officials, and tourist entrepreneurs. This group has now been joined by Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, a respected lecturer at the Vistula School of Hospitality, the Rector’s Proxy for Co-operation with the Socio-Economic Environment.
A joint meeting of the new Council and the Council of the Polish Tourist Organization was held on July the 16th in Gródek on the Dunajec River. The topic was the evaluation of the tourist voucher. Experts and representatives of the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology discussed how to improve this instrument and make it permanent. On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin declared that if the tourism industry needed state aid, such help would come.
