Get vaccinated with science

Vistula Universities are involved in the next edition of the Festival of Science. It will take place on September 17-26. This is the largest event popularizing science in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. This year’s motto is “Get vaccinated with science”.

It will be the 25th Festival whose mission is to disseminate science. The event gives you the opportunity to experience science, learn about its methods and achievements, and encourage you to expand your knowledge.

Over 100 research and cultural centers, as well as public and private institutions, including Vistula Universities, have engaged in the project, which is aimed at children, youth and older science enthusiasts.

About 1,000 meetings will be held as part of the festival. During them, issues related to new technologies, innovations in business, entrepreneurship and global changes taking place in the lifestyle of modern man will be discussed. The event will be held in a hybrid formula.

Lecturers from the Vistula University will give the following lectures:

• 20.09.2021, at 5:30 pm – Alexander Lukashenko – the last dictator in Europe?,
  lecture by Piotr Kościński, PhD;
• 21.09.2021, at 5:30 pm – The phenomenon of ethnoculturalism and related concepts, lecture by prof. Wawrzyniec Konarski;
• 22.09.2021, 5:30 pm – Protest like a girl, ie women’s participation in social protests, lecture by Agata Włodkowska, PhD;
• 24.09.2021, 5:00 pm – How does the right-wing turn affect changes in foreign policy?, Lecture by Anna Grzywacz PhD (only online — join in Zoom, Meeting ID: 843 9532 0543);
