EU-India strategic partnership in the context of the most important global challenges
The European Union and India have established a strategic partnership in 2004, but in practice they did not go beyond economic issues. Currently – in the context of China’s growing importance in the global balance of power, the increasingly deep tensions between Washington and Beijing, and the ongoing Brexit process – an opportunity is opened for a comprehensive intensification of Euro-Indian relations.
- How is the European Union looking at India today?
- What for India is a stronger alliance with a united Europe?
- What areas are the most important for the future of mutual relations?
- What’s next with the EU-India Free Trade Agreement?
We will talk about these issues during the scientific seminar of the Institute of International Relations, under the slogan ” EU – India strategic partnership in the context of the most important global challenges. “The lecture will be held by PhD Małgorzata Bonikowska, president of the Center for International Relations.
