CINEMA, ART, FREEDOM – Vistula invites to the Atlantic Cinema

Start: Wed, 23 May 2018, 18:00

Art needs freedom. It comes out from the rebellion against an order. It shocks, provokes scandals and poses difficult questions. Art breaks taboos.

However, are there any limits in the freedom of artistic expression? Do you know who or what sets them, and if they are exceeded – who is responsible for that?

We invite you to an inspiring evening organized by Vistula University,  Multimedia Department of the Graphic Department of Fine Arts, Capital Center of Cultural Education and State Artistic Center.

The programme includes the screening of extraordinary films and multimedia presentations of the prominent ASP lecturers – Hieronim Neumann, Piotr Welk, Krzysztof Jabłonowski, Wiktor Jędrzejec, Przemysław Adamski,  Mariusz Filipowicz, Ewa Sokołowska and Kacper Bartczak.

You will also be able to discuss with Artur Wolski, who is going to host the meeting and other specialists. The discussion will be led by prof. Wawrzyniec Konarski (associate professor at the Vistula University Group) and Piotr Janowczyk (art historian, lecturer at the Academy of Photography).

The meeting will be recorded by students from the Cinematographic and Computer Technical College Krzysztof Kieślowski in Warsaw.

We are inviting you on May 23, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Atlantic cinema
