PhD in engineering of technical sciences (with honors). Graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science in the field of Computer Science with a specialty – Databases, Networks and Computer Systems. Since 2008, manager and instructor of the Cisco Academy, where he conducts authorized courses and training. In the years 2013-2016, head of the Department of Applied Informatics at the Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and in the years, 2017-2020 – head of the Department of Modeling and Optimization at the Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics, Warsaw University of Life Sciences. His scientific research covers issues in the field of computer networks and Cisco technologies, VoIP and the use of Petri nets in modeling the quality of QoS transmission in IP networks. In addition, he deals with modeling and analysis of systems as well as modeling and analysis of business processes. He conducts joint research with the Department of Computer Science, Memorial University, St. John’s, Canada. These research encompasses the following areas:
- Modeling and Performance Analysis of QoS data,
- Performance analysis of Quality-of-Service techniques in packet-switched networks
- Modeling traffic shaping methods in packet-switched networks
In addition, he cooperates with the BOC Information Technologies Consulting Group as part of the university program in the field of business process management and optimization.
Supervisor of over 100 theses in the field of IT. Author and co-author of about 50 scientific articles. He presented research results at numerous national and international conferences.
