We develop cooperation with Tianjin University of Technology
At the beginning of June, we hosted a delegation from Tianjin University of Technology (TUT) in China at Vistula University. The result is the agreement on establishing cooperation in the field of business and IT.
Responding to our invitation, the following guests came to Warsaw: prof. Wang Tie, vice president of TUT, liu Qun – director of the School of Foreign Languages and Culture and Qiao Liyan, deputy director of the TUT International Cooperation Office.
The visit program included: a tour around the Vistula campus led by Ali Sengul, PhD, meeting with Prof. Wawrzyniec Konarski, Rector of Vistula University, and signing a new cooperation agreement.
Discussions were held on preparing a joint application regarding participation in the Erasmus+ program and on undertaking actions aimed at implementing the student exchange program. The Chinese guests also took part in a meeting with the Confucius Classroom employees and representatives of students attending Chinese courses.
Tianjin University of Technology has been our partner for 13 years. In December 2023, during the visit of Prof. Konarski in China, a memorandum was signed, which provides for academic and student exchange. Students of Philology with advanced Chinese program can study at TUT for one semester, participate in summer camps or complete professional internships at the Tianjin campus.
