Success of Vistula University in the QS Europe ranking
We are very pleased to announce that Vistula University took second place in the QS Europe ranking in the international student diversity category.
This is our great success, which we achieved thanks to the huge commitment of the International Marketing and Recruitment Office!
The QS Europe ranking is the only large ranking of universities from all over Europe on the market. Its core are universities from countries belonging to the Council of Europe, the leading human rights organization on the continent. The methodology places particular emphasis on exchange and internationalization as they are central to the European ethos. A new measure, international student diversity, was introduced for the first time.
Taking it into account, Vistula University took 2nd place among all 688 universities included. It’s a huge success.
The Ranking also takes into account factors such as:
- lecturers’ opinions,
- employers’ opinions,
- internationalization of the university (including the number of foreign lecturers and students, as well as academic exchange programs),
- ratio of the number of lecturers to students,
- science publications.
QS World Universities Rankings are world rankings of top universities published since 2004. In the years 2004–2009, the ranking was called THES–QS World University Rankings and was a list of the 200 best universities in the world.
