Our rector, student and graduate were awarded!
Not one, not two, but three statuettes we won during the MP Power Nigth. Awards from the event industry were won by Prof. Jolanta Żyśko, rector of the Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (SGTiR), our student Anastasiya Kyryllova and graduate Katerina Melnik.
Professor Jolanta Żyśko got the first place in the MP Power Awards – Power 12 in the Meeting Planner Association category, awarded for commissioning and substantive supervision over events, congresses and seminars.
Our student Anastasiya Kyryllova won the Young Creative Event Industry Competition 2017, accompanying the MP Power Awards. She defeated students from all over Poland, and the final two students from our Vistula Group of Universities. Magda Klimczyk, from SGTiR and Paweł Tuszyński from the Vistula University, got caught up on the podium.
The third statuette – in the Discovery of the Year 2017 competition was won by Katerina Melnik, a graduate of SGTiR, and currently Individual Sales & E-commerce Manager of the Sound Garden Hotel. Katerina was appreciated for her creativity and commitment, which allowed her to appear on the arena of the Polish meetings industry. In the final of the competition, there was another SGTiR graduate – Katarzyna Kalinowska.
The awards were presented during the MP Power Night gala on March 23 at the Służewiec Racecourse Racetrack in Warsaw. The event was the final event Meetings Week Poland 2018.
