Protocol, etiquette, savoir vivre – workshops
Working in the field of international relations, especially in diplomacy, is inherently associated with the need to organize and participate in various kinds of parties and receptions. We invite students of the Vistula School of Hospitality and Vistula University to take part in workshops that will familiarize them with the rules of protocol, etiquette and savoir vivre.
An outstanding diplomat, Zdzisław Rapacki, PhD, will conduct the workshops.
During the course you will learn, among others, about proper forms of inviting guests, how to seat them at the table or plan the menu, as well as how to dress (tailcoat, tuxedo, suit). You will find out how to prepare the table for buffet and sit-down parties and how to serve drinks at the bar. Participation in the workshops will allow you to gain confidence in international contacts and build the image of a professional.
You will also be able to participate in the workshops online on the TEAMS platform.

April 21, 2023 (Friday)
- 10:00 – 14:00 – workshop in Polish addressed to students of the Vistula School of Hospitality as part of the “Etiquette in the hotel industry” course.
- 16:00 – 20:00 – workshop in English for students of Vistula University as part of the “Business etiquette” course.
April 24, 2023 (Monday)
- 16:00 – 20:00 – workshop in Polish addressed to students of the Vistula School of Hospitality as part of the “Etiquette in the hotel industry” course.
Due to the lack of classes in the current semester on “Protocol” and Etiquette” at Vistula University, we invite former and current students of amb. Janusz Mrowiec to take part in the workskops.
