Graduate of sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology at Warsaw University (1995); scholarship holder from the International Research & Exchanges Board in 1996, an American organization supporting democratic changes in Central European countries; he completed internships and broadened his didactic experience during stays at Cornell University (School of Industrial and Labour Relations – USA), at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium – 1997) and Rutgers University (Human Resource Department, USA – 1999), which provided grounds for the dissertation in the field of human resource management and the subsequent defence of the doctoral thesis in 2002 (Warsaw University).

Teaching/research interests:

  • international relations;
  • economic sociology and economic policy;
  • international human resource management and industrial relations;
  • cultural diversity of organizations with Asian capital, in particular; Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
