Your vote counts! Take part in student government elections

Want to influence what is happening at the university? Do you like working for the common good, are you creative, ambitious and can you inspire others?

Don’t wait – run for Vistula University Student Council! You will fulfill yourself, meet new people, gain experience and develop social competences.

Timetable:

  • registration of applications is open from October the 28th to November 14th;
  • the election campaign will run from November the 16th to 27th;
  • the voting will take place online on November the 22nd – 28th;
  • the results will be announced on November the 30th.

According to paragraph 24 Regulation Documents for Student Council:

  1. All Elections for Student Council and the decisions for the accepting or the excluding the candidates is supervising by Student Activity Department and The Heads of Student Council.
  2. All materials of the campaign should be accepted by Student Activity Department.
  3. Candidate who is spoiling, ruining, wrecking up other candidates’ materials or in any other way is intruding other candidates’ campaigns could be excluded.
  4. None of the any materials could be offending for any of the candidates.
  5. Candidate who is spoiling, ruining, wrecking up other candidates’ materials or in any other way is intruding other candidates’ campaigns could be excluded.

According to Student Council Regulation Documents:

  1. To be a member of student council can be any student from 2nd and further semester of Studies.
  2. To be a member of Student Council Executive Board can be any student from 2nd and further year of studies.
  3. Student of Vistula University could be part only for Vistula University Student Council.
  4. Student of Vistula School of Hospitality could be only part of Vistula School of Hospitality Student Council.

According to the rules of the Marketing Department and the Department of Student Activities:

  • any campaign material cannot break any rules of University internal regulations;
  • any campaign material cannot break any rules of Facebook or Instagram regulations;
  • any campaign material cannot break any European or Polish law as well as human’s rights or promote any kind of discrimination or hate speech;
  • any part of campaign material cannot in any way humiliate, ridicule or in any other way insult other candidate/s;
  • all materials must include name and surname in description;
  • maximum video length is 45 seconds, it must have clear sound, good light, good quality and format.
