Neuroscience, Productivity and Public Speaking – a Special #2BGuest Meeting at Vistula University

At the end of May, Vistula University hosted a special edition of the #2BGuest Meeting Special Edition “The Neuroscience of Learning, Productivity and Presenting”. The event was organized by the Student Science Club of Business Tourism “2B” in cooperation with MPI Poland Chapter.
The guests of the meeting were Bogdan Manta and Lewis Booij – recognized neuroscience experts who came to Vistula University from the Netherlands. The event brought together students, academic staff, and representatives of the business tourism sector.
The meeting focused on the practical use of neuroscience in learning, work, presentations, and everyday productivity. Bogdan Manta, founder of The Brain Academy and a keynote speaker at conferences around the world, shared insights into how the human brain works and how this knowledge can support personal and professional development.
The discussion covered topics such as delivering memorable presentations, staying focused under pressure, meeting deadlines without last-minute stress, and building habits that genuinely improve effectiveness. Participants received practical tips that they could immediately apply in their studies and professional lives.
One of the most engaging parts of the event was the interactive session. Participants had the opportunity to step onto the stage and deliver a short pitch on a topic of their choice, receiving direct feedback from Bogdan Manta and Lewis Booij. It was a valuable opportunity to practise public speaking, communication, and presenting ideas.
Representatives of the Vistula community and event partners also played an important role in the meeting. Alexandra Kunowska, President of MPI Poland Chapter, introduced the mission of the organization and opened students’ eyes to the world of international meetings and industry events. Valeriia Bilozertseva, President of the 2B Club, spoke about how student activity and involvement outside the classroom can translate into real professional achievements.
The event was also supported by partners and members of the academic community. Novotel Warsaw Centre Hotel hosted the invited experts, while Anna Kwiatek-Skok, Deputy Hotel Manager, shared her professional story in hospitality, highlighting the importance of determination and consistency in building a career. Omar Aboelfetoh presented the activities of the Vistula Photo Club, emphasizing that photography is not only a technical skill, but also the art of telling stories through images.
We would also like to thank BSC AV for providing audiovisual equipment and technical support, as well as Ahmed, President of the Vistula Music Club, who ensured the smooth technical organization of the event, including lighting and sound.
The visit of international experts was an important moment in the life of our university. The meeting combined knowledge, practice, networking, and inspiration for further development. We would like to thank all guests, partners, organizers, and participants who contributed to this unique initiative.
