Graduation Ceremony 2025 – a celebration of our graduates

It was a day full of pride, emotion, and joy – our graduates received their diplomas, marking the end of an important stage in their educational journey.
On the afternoon of Saturday, June 14, 2025, Auditorium 4 on the Vistula University campus was filled with elegantly dressed students, their families, friends, and lecturers. The Graduation Ceremony 2025 brought together hundreds of guests who gathered to celebrate the achievements of our graduating students.
The ceremony was opened by Professor Wawrzyniec Konarski, Rector of the Vistula University, who emphasized in his speech the importance of the event and the role of education in the lives of young people:

This is not an ordinary year — one that simply ends with receiving a formal document confirming your education and skills. This year holds special significance because graduation marks the beginning of a new chapter — one full of challenges, many of which will be unexpected and unprecedented.
Soon, you will become specialists in your chosen fields. You will pursue your ambitions, carve out your own paths, and shape your hopes. However, the greatest challenge you now face comes from the world itself — its complexity, unpredictability, and the constant need to adapt. During your time at Vistula University, you have gained not only knowledge, but also the tools and skills to apply it. From now on, almost everything depends on you.
Next, the floor was taken by Professor Krzysztof Celuch, Rector of the Vistula School of Hospitality.

How wonderful it is to see you smiling — it’s truly worth coming together for moments like this. To me, you are the most exceptional community today. Not only have you completed your studies — often balancing academic life with work — but you’ve also invited your loved ones to celebrate with you here, in the very heart of Poland. You are already winning the most important prizes in life — building friendships, growing as individuals, and shaping the future.
Remember — in adult life, what matters most is people. Both those who are close and those who are far away. That’s why it’s always worth coming together.
Distinctions for Outstanding Achievements
A key moment of the ceremony was the presentation of the Rector’s Distinctions to students who made a special mark in the University’s history — through exceptional academic accomplishments, impressive sports successes, and honorable representation of Vistula at external events.Among the awardees was Aleksandra Szuba from the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation at the Vistula School of Hospitality, who achieved the highest GPA among undergraduate students in the Dietetics program.

Shared Joy and an International Atmosphere
The ceremony had a distinctly international character – diplomas were awarded to students from dozens of countries around the world. A variety of languages echoed from the stage, and the Vistula flag symbolically united the academic community beyond borders.
During the ceremony, Muzaffar Khudoyberganov, a representative of the students from the Vistula University of Finance and Business, addressed the audience:
“I am proud to be a part of this community. Our graduating class is a group of incredible people. Looking back, I realize that the most important lessons did not come from textbooks – we learned them from each other. It was the shared challenges, stories, experiences, and relationships that made this time truly special. It was the people who gave this university real meaning.”
In his speech, he warmly thanked the “dear professors and University staff” for their patience and dedication, and also addressed the parents and loved ones:
“Thank you for your unwavering support and belief in our growth. We wouldn’t be here without you.”
Right after him, Iga Najdek – a student of the Vistula School of Hospitality and winner of the “Young Creative in the Event Industry” award at the 13th edition of the MP Power Awards – delivered her speech.

I believe these years at Vistula have been fruitful and unique for all of us. Today, I look at you with great admiration as you complete an important chapter of your educational journey. No matter which diploma you are receiving, your success deserves the highest recognition. You are a tremendous source of inspiration to me.
A Moment to Remember
The highlight of the event was, of course, the awarding of diplomas. Each graduate was called by name, accompanied by applause and flashing cameras. In the background, joyful cheers, laughter, and tears of emotion filled the hall.
After the official part, participants had the opportunity to take photos together with lecturers, family, and friends.
We thank everyone who joined us that day – both in person and in spirit. It was your day. Congratulations to all graduates, and we wish you success in the next stages of your professional and personal journey!
