Graduation 2026

On 20 June 2026, the Graduation 2026 ceremony took place at the Vistula campus at 36 Kawęczyńska Street in Warsaw. Two ceremonies were held that day – at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM – bringing together the academic community of Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality to celebrate the achievements of this year’s Graduates.
Graduation is one of the most important moments in academic life. It marks the culmination of years of study, hard work, perseverance and ambition, while also symbolically opening a new chapter – full of plans, dreams and professional challenges. Aula Magna welcomed Graduates, university authorities, academic staff, invited guests, families and friends who accompanied the students on their journey to this special day.
The ceremonies began with the official entrance of the Senates of both universities and the flag bearers of Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality. The Invicta Chamber Choir performed the National Anthem of the Republic of Poland and later the academic anthem “Gaudeamus Igitur”. The Graduates and guests were addressed by the Rector of Vistula University, Professor Wawrzyniec Konarski, and the Rector of Vistula School of Hospitality, Professor Krzysztof Celuch.
The first ceremony also included the presentation of certificates to graduates of postgraduate programmes, including Critical Infrastructure Security Coordinator and Executive Master of Business Administration. An important part of the event was also the student speeches, during which representatives of the graduating class shared their reflections, memories and emotions connected with their time at the university.
During the second ceremony, students were recognised for the highest academic achievements and outstanding sports performance. The awards went to individuals whose consistency, talent and dedication are an inspiration to the entire Vistula academic community. Representatives of the “Dispecto” Student Research Club of Forensic Science and Forensic Medicine from the Vistula University branch in Gdańsk were also recognised for winning second place in the national “Student Masters of Forensic Science” competition named after Professor Antoni Feluś.
The central moment of both ceremonies was the reading of the names of the Graduates and the presentation of congratulatory letters. Each Graduate had their moment on stage, a commemorative photo with the Rectors and well-deserved applause from the audience. It was a symbolic gesture of recognition for the effort, determination and work that led them to complete this important stage of their education.
The day also included joy, emotion and academic tradition. After receiving their congratulatory letters, the Graduates took part in the Cap Toss – the collective throwing of graduation caps, symbolising the completion of studies and the beginning of a new chapter. This energetic and meaningful moment was captured by photographers and will surely remain one of the most memorable highlights of Graduation 2026.
After the official part, participants had the opportunity to take commemorative photos with their families, friends and university authorities at the Graduation photo wall. The day ended with a musical celebration – a concert by ZCC Brass Band and performances by students from Vistula Music Club.
We warmly congratulate all Graduates of Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality. We would also like to thank the families, friends, lecturers, staff members, volunteers and everyone involved in organising this special day. We are proud to have celebrated your success together.
Dear Graduates – this was your day. We wish you courage, fulfilment and every success in the next chapter of your lives.
