Vistula University Begins Cooperation with Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto

From October 20–24, 2025, the Vistula University hosted Dr. Astha Chadha from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto (Japan), an expert in Asian security.

During her visit, an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Vistula University (AFiB Vistula) and Ritsumeikan University. The agreement lays the foundation for future academic collaboration in the areas of student and faculty exchange, joint research, conferences, and cultural initiatives.
The signing of the MoU marks a new stage in the university’s internationalization efforts and represents an important step in strengthening ties with leading academic institutions in Asia.
As part of her visit, Dr. Chadha also delivered guest lectures for students of the International Relations program, focusing on security issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
According to the university’s leadership, cooperation with Ritsumeikan University will serve as an impetus for fostering intercultural dialogue and developing joint educational projects, further strengthening Vistula’s position as a globally oriented university.
