“AR WE IN RISK OF DECOMPOSITION OF THE LIBERAL INTERNATIONAL ORDER? EUROPE IN A CHANGING WORLD “

Start: Fri, 09 Jun 2017, 11:00

 THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS invite you to SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE at Vistula University.

The declining phase of the liberal international order it has been said at least since the outbreak of the 2008 financial crisis. It was a direct opportunity to question the development models of the broadly understood West offered by countries on which the current world order was based. The dynamics of this discussion, however, took on a completely unexpected pace with the election of Donald Trump to the office of the President of the United States and in connection with his policy. It turned out that the West itself could be the greatest threat to Western unity and leadership. At the same time, the European Union, which survived crises previously described as existential, is undergoing another crisis as a community of democratic values. It puts into question the possibility of its impact directed at maintaining the current, so favorable for her, international order.

The scientific conference and its two sessions are aimed at:

discussion of the broader context of the changes in international order;
presenting of the EU response and adaptation to the changes taking place in the international order.

Note: Only for employees and outsiders

We cordially invite you on November 22, 2018, at 10:00 am,  Aula 2
