A Vistula Student Wins Gold at Polish Academic Championships

Oliwier Mutwil, a student at the Vistula University, has won a gold medal at the  Polish Academic Championships. This is yet another impressive achievement for the young athlete.

During the competition held last weekend in Poznań, Oliwier – representing our University – triumphed in the 3000-meter race. He also set a new personal best: 8:16 (average pace: 2:45/km). This is not his first remarkable result this season – earlier, he also improved his personal best in the 10,000-meter distance.

Oliwier Mutwil is a talented track and field athlete specializing in middle- and long-distance running. He was the Polish U23 champion in the 5000 meters in 2021. He began his athletic career in Wodzisław Śląski, training with the UKS Diament Jedynka club.

We sincerely congratulate Oliwier on this outstanding accomplishment. We are proud that our student not only pursues academic development, but also represents Vistula in the world of sports with such passion and success.

The sporting achievements of our students and alumni are extremely important to us – we support their passions, determination, and growth in every area of life.
