A graduate of English Studies at the University of Warsaw. English language trainer, translator, academic lecturer specialising in improving accuracy, fluency and quality of English skills with the application of technology and findings from the field of neurodidactics. In 2010, she received the best junior lecturer award at Warsaw School of Applied Linguistics.
As a language consultant, she has worked with many companies, conducting training sessions for managerial staff or language audits (e.g. for the Ministry Higher Education – Top 500 Innovators project). She has been a speaker at conferences devoted to teaching foreign languages, e.g. IATEFL Polska, European PASE Congress and published articles for teachers of English in Poland and abroad. She has written a few books for English language students at all levels of proficiency and created materials for online platforms. She is a reviewer of ‘The Journal of Teaching English with Technology ‘. Currently, Anna Kamont is the Head of English Studies Programme at AFiB Vistula.
Areas of didactic/scientific interests:
- modern technologies supporting learning foreign languages;
- lexical approach to learning foreign languages;
- elements of coaching and psychology in foreign language teaching;
- Neurodidactics.
