he specialises in research on German economy, the processes of economic integration in Europe, as well as institutional economy; he is a graduate of law of the University of Wroc\u0142aw, and he completed his doctoral and post-doctoral studies at the University of Economy in Wroc\u0142aw; in years 2004-2009, he worked at the Willy Brandt German and European Studies Centre in Wroc\u0142aw, and later at the Centre for International Relations at the University of Wroc\u0142aw, where he managed the international M.Sc. studies \u201cGlobal Studies&nbsp;\u2013 a European Perspective\u201d; &nbsp;in years 2006-2008, he was a member of the council of the&nbsp; &#8220;Krzy\u017cowa&#8221; Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe, in 2008-2012&nbsp;\u2013 a member of the Permanent Council of the Polish-German Forum, and in years 2015-2017, he was a co-chairman of the management board of the&nbsp; Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation; scholarship recipient of the Commerzbank Foundation and DAAD; a visiting lecturer at universities in Germany, Austria, the USA, South Africa, Canada, South Korea and India;
