In the latest edition, the authors explore topics that are close to the everyday experiences of young people \u2013 from choosing a field of study and dealing with social pressure to the influence of trends and social media on our decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Polish version, we especially recommend the article <strong>\u201cJak studenci wybieraj\u0105 sw\u00f3j kierunek studi\u00f3w?\u201d<\/strong>, which shows that choosing a degree programme is often more complex than it seems. Family expectations, friends, career prospects and personal interests all influence the decision, forcing many students to ask themselves whether they should follow their passion or choose what seems more practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another recommended text is <strong>\u201cStudenckie typy\u201d<\/strong>, a light and accurate look at the first days at university and the types of people students may meet regardless of their programme. The article reminds readers that the beginning of university life can be stressful, but many students share similar doubts and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Polish edition also includes <strong>\u201cFenomen matchy\u201d<\/strong>, an article asking where personal choice ends and the influence of trends begins. Do we drink matcha because we truly like it, or because it has become a lifestyle symbol promoted by social media?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the English version of Vistula Monitor, we recommend <strong>\u201cHow Kie\u015blowski Explores Taboo in Dekalog IV\u201d<\/strong>, an interpretation of Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski\u2019s film, <strong>\u201cThe Architecture of Opportunity\u201d<\/strong>, which discusses education as a path to development, and <strong>\u201cThe Fear of Falling Behind: Why Students Feel \u2018Late\u2019 Already at 20\u201d<\/strong>, an article about the pressure of early success and constant comparison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new articles show the diversity of Vistula students\u2019 interests and their sensitivity to social, cultural and educational topics.
