From 27 April 2026<\/strong>, applications for a temporary residence permit must be submitted only through the Case Management Module (MOS) portal<\/strong>:

Please follow the steps below carefully.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Obtain a PESEL Number<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before starting your application, obtain a PESEL number:

Step 2: Create a Trusted Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create your Trusted Profile here:
https:\/\/pz.gov.pl\/pz\/registerMainPage<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Trusted Profile<\/strong> is a secure method of electronic identification. It allows you to confirm your identity online and sign official documents electronically. Signing documents with a Trusted Profile is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Trusted Profile is also required to create an e-Delivery mailbox<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Register on the MOS Portal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create an account on the MOS portal:
https:\/\/www.mos.cudzoziemcy.gov.pl\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: Complete the TRC Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Log in to the MOS portal through login.gov.pl<\/strong> and complete the application for a temporary residence permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5: Provide a valid email address<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter a valid email address. You will receive a code needed to assign your case in the inPOL system<\/strong>:

Step 6: Upload Required Attachments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare and upload scans or digital versions of the required documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. A colour photo, taken within the last 6 months, size 684 \u00d7 883 px<\/strong>, maximum 2.5 MB<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Scan of all passport pages<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Proof of stamp duty payment \u2013 PLN 340<\/strong>
    Payment can also be made online:     https:\/\/en.migrant.wsc.mazowieckie.pl\/urge\/1979<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Residence card fee \u2013 PLN 100<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Proof of health insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Documents confirming accommodation costs, such as a rental agreement or dormitory certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Documents confirming sufficient financial means, covering:\n
      \n
    • living costs \u2013 minimum PLN 1,010 per month<\/strong> for the entire stay, usually around 15 months<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • accommodation costs for the entire stay<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • tuition fees for the current academic year and the next semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • return travel costs:\n
        \n
      • PLN 300<\/strong> for neighbouring countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • PLN 500<\/strong> for EU countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • PLN 2,500<\/strong> for non-EU countries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Student status and payment confirmation letter from the university<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transcript of records, required after completing the first semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Proof of tuition fee payment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Step 7: Provide the University email address<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To complete and approve Annex No. 5<\/strong>, provide the university email address:
        mos.student@vistula.edu.pl<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 8: Sign the Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Sign the application using your Trusted Profile<\/strong> or a qualified electronic signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 9: Download the UPO Confirmation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Download the UPO<\/strong>, which is the official confirmation of submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Please remember: no UPO means the application has not been submitted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 10: Create an inPOL Account<\/strong> Create an account in the inPOL system<\/strong> if you do not already have one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Good to Know<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Please read the following information carefully before submitting your application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. Never share your Trusted Profile login details with anyone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Documents are submitted electronically.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Saving the application and sending it to the university does not<\/strong> mean that the application has been submitted to the Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Additional or missing documents must be sent via e-Delivery<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. You will receive a confirmation of submission, which replaces the passport stamp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. You may be called to the Office to provide fingerprints, signature or additional documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. If required documents are missing, your application will not be processed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. The permit is issued for the study period plus 3 months, but for no longer than 3 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        9. Do not apply at the last minute<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        10. Keep your contact details up to date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        11. Create an e-Delivery account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        12. Send documents together with a cover letter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        13. Obtaining required signatures, for example from the university, may take time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        14. You will receive your case number by email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        15. If you are staying legally in Poland, you will receive confirmation of legal residence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        16. Track your case in the inPOL system and respond to any requests from the Office.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          After a positive decision, you will receive information about collecting your residence card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Appeal Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          If you receive a negative decision, you may submit an appeal to the Head of the Office for Foreigners<\/strong> within 14 days<\/strong>. The appeal must be submitted through the Mazovian Voivode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Financial Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          You must prove that you have sufficient financial means for your stay in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Required minimum amount:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • PLN 1,010 per month<\/strong> \u2013 for a single person<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • PLN 823 per month per person<\/strong> \u2013 if staying with family members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              Accepted documents confirming financial means include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • scholarship confirmation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • employment certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                Financial documents must be issued no earlier than 1 month before submitting the application<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
