A mural designed by this year\u2019s graduate, Maja Walentynowicz, a graduate of the Graphic Design program, has appeared on the walls of the building. The project is implemented under the academic supervision and coordination of Dr Magdalena Cybulska, with the support of Oliwia Ochnio, a third-year Graphic Design student.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The mural was created with the people who make up the Vistula community in mind \u2013 students, lecturers and staff. As the author explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis mural was created with the students and staff of the university in mind \u2013 as a visual impulse that adds energy and motivation from the very moment you step into the building. I chose a strong combination of orange and navy blue to introduce dynamism and a distinct rhythm into the university space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The animals depicted have been framed in geometric forms, as if enclosed in squares. I believe that simplicity of form carries the greatest expressive power. Minimalism and geometric structure organise the space, while at the same time allowing the viewer to focus on the emotions and energy emanating from the mural\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not the end of the transformation. There are also plans to paint another wall according to the design of another of our graduates \u2013 Polina Stepanova.
