The\u00a0Vistula School of Hospitality (VSH)\u00a0held the sixth edition of its prestigious\u00a0\u201cVistula Compasses\u201d competition, which recognizes outstanding alumni for their professional achievements in the fields of\u00a0tourism, hospitality, HORECA, and the\u00a0event industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards ceremony took place on\u00a0March 31, 2025, as part of the celebrations for\u00a0Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID). The event brought together a wide range of guests, including representatives from academia, business, government, local authorities, the tourism sector, as well as students and faculty from Vistula University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Each year, we proudly honour our graduates who achieve success in their careers, overcome challenges, and, above all, pursue their passion in the hospitality industry \u2013 said Professor Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, Rector of VSH. \u2013 Their accomplishments are the best proof of the high quality and practical relevance of education at our university \u2013 he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winners of the \u201cVistula Compasses\u201d 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, the competition jury presented awards in three key categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.\u00a0Rising Star<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Remigiusz Maziarek<\/strong>, Sales Manager at DMC Rovaniemi, recognized for\u00a0his dynamic career development and innovative approach to sales in tourism.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Open Vistula Compass<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u017baneta Grabara<\/strong>, Safety, Security, Health, Environmental Protection Officer at Roche Polska Sp. z o.o., awarded for\u00a0her outstanding achievements in safety management and environmental protection within an international corporation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Hospitality<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Micha\u0142 Kozak<\/strong>, President of the Management Board at Hotel Ar\u0142am\u00f3w S.A., honored for\u00a0his effective leadership of a luxury hotel and implementation of innovative solutions in the hospitality industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
