Over 200 high school students have recently visited the Faculty of Humanities at Vistula University, located in Pu\u0142tusk. The students from R\u00f3\u017can, Legionowo, and Pu\u0142tusk attended the event to explore the educational opportunities offered by our University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guests were warmly welcomed by Ma\u0142gorzata Gogolewska-To\u015bka, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. The Vice-Rector for Science, Professor Rados\u0142aw Lolo, PhD, then took the stage to present the diversity of study programs and the promising career prospects available to graduates. As a distinguished historian and science popularizer, Prof. Lolo emphasized the University\u2019s strong commitment to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills\u2014a crucial approach in today\u2019s competitive job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation of individual study programs was led by the directors of respective programs. Gra\u017cyna Gadomska PhD introduced the Finance and Accounting program as well as the National Security program (on behalf of General Dr. Bogus\u0142aw B\u0119benek). Roman Biskupski, PhD provided insights into what students can expect from the Administration program. Meanwhile, Ma\u0142gorzata Gogolewska-To\u015bka, PhD highlighted the wide range of development opportunities available through studying Pedagogy and Preschool and Early School Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lecture by Joanna Jaworska, PhD titled \u201cBehavioral Economics: How Do People Make Consumer Decisions?\u201d, sparked significant interest among the participants. She delved into the psychological and social mechanisms that influence consumer decision-making. The lively discussion that followed demonstrated the growing awareness and curiosity among young people regarding market behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event concluded with a thought-provoking lecture by Prof. Zbigniew Romek, PhD, titled \u201cThe Word as a Tool of Communication.\u201d Professor Romek emphasized the critical role of language in building relationships, facilitating effective information exchange, and navigating negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting with lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities at Vistula University provided students with an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers to their pressing concerns.
