The \u201cVistula Compasses\u201d Competition has entered its decisive phase. The jury has selected the finalists, and the names of the winners will be announced on March 31, 2025, during the gala accompanying Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) 2025. This event will bring together representatives from the academic and business communities, government and local institutions, industry professionals, and students.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The competition, organized by the Vistula School of Hospitality<\/strong>, attracts attention from the tourism, hospitality, and event management sectors every year. This year\u2019s sixth edition confirms that our University\u2019s graduates are achieving significant professional success, serving as an inspiration for their younger peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Finalists in each category<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The competition jury, composed of representatives from the Business Council of VSH and industry experts, has chosen finalists in three main categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVistula Compasses\u201d \u2013 Rising Star<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This category recognises young, dynamically developing professionals. The finalists are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This open category celebrates achievements in various areas related to hospitality. The finalists are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cVistula Compasses\u201d – Hospitality<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      This category is dedicated to the hotel industry. The finalists are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Justyna Wola\u0144ska<\/strong>, PR, Marketing, and Social Media Manager at Orbis S.A. Hotel Sofitel Warsaw Victoria<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The finale gala is included in the calendar of the<\/strong> Polish Presidency of the EU<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The winners of the competition will be announced during the prestigious \u201cVistula Compasses\u201d Gala, which will take place on March 31, 2025<\/strong>, at the Golden Tulip Warsaw Centre Hotel. The event will be part of the Polish celebrations of the Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) 2025 highlighting the importance of the competition not only for our University but also for the entire tourism and hospitality industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Science and Higher Education<\/strong> and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism<\/strong>. The gala will also be included in the calendar of the Polish Presidency of the European Union<\/strong>. It is additionally under the patronage of Adam Sz\u0142apka<\/strong>, Minister for European Union Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Significance of the \u201cVistula Compasses\u201d Competition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The \u201cVistula Compasses\u201dis a unique distinction awarded by the Vistula School of Hospitality to its graduates for significant professional achievements in areas related to hospitality. The competition covers sectors such as tourism, HORECA, the meetings industry, and sports management. The initiative is spearheaded by the Business Council of VSH which includes entrepreneurs and industry journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The competition is not only an opportunity to honour our outstanding alumni, but also a source of inspiration for current students of the VSH and young professionals. It demonstrates that passion, commitment, and continuous skill development are the key to success in the dynamically evolving sectors of tourism, hospitality, and event management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
